Microdermabrasion is a superficial mechanical abrasion to the skin. The primary purpose of this procedure is to prepare the skin to accept and increase the absorption properties of active-ingredient rejuvenation products and/or chemicals. A one-time treatment is similar to a deep cleansing or polishing of the skin. In order to see significant results, these treatments need to be done in a series, and in combination with active ingredient skin care products.

Waxing is the most common way to remove hair in medispas today, due to lasers only being able to target pigmented hair. Waxing leads to a reduction of hair growth and is usually performed every month and is effective for all hair pigmentation. The more you wax the less hair grows back. People with overly sensitive skin should be careful with waxing and should consult an aesthetician or doctor before having a waxing service performed. We offer facial waxing at our facility including eyebrows, chin, lip, and cheeks.

You should not wax if you have used Retin-A in the past 4 days, or Accutane in the past 6 months. If you do take any other kind of acne prescription be sure to consult the aesthetician before proceeding.

SkinPen-Microneedling is one of the most advanced microneedling technologies. This is a treatment that involves tiny small pins puncturing the skin. Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, leads to the reduction of fine lines, acne, scars, and wrinkles on both the face and the body. The SkinPen also helps with the overall tightening of skin. This treatment is unique, because the depth is adjustable so it can be used anywhere on the face. The process takes around 30 minutes, but is determined by how large, or small the area is on the body. There is little to no down time after microneedling.

Some people may experience 4-5 days of possible tenderness, do not use any harsh products for at least 1 week after treatment.
